About CGPA to %
Translate a CGPA/GPA into a percentage on 10, 4, or 5 point grading scales, with the division class.
Many applications ask for a percentage while universities award CGPA. On the common 10-point scale the standard conversion multiplies by 9.5; on 4-point and 5-point scales the equivalent multipliers are 25 and 20. Pick your scale, enter the CGPA, and get the percentage plus the division it falls in.
Note that some universities mandate their own conversion formula printed on the transcript — when one exists, the official formula always overrules the standard multiplier. This tool computes locally in your browser.
Where it is used
Students filling job and higher-education forms that ask for percentage, converting transcripts across grading systems, and checking division cutoffs.
