About Number Pages
Add "Page i of N" footers (or top-center headers) to every page of a PDF.
Upload a PDF and pick bottom-center, bottom-right, or top-center. Each page gets a small gray "Page i of N" label in the margin — outside typical content areas.
Files stay in your browser; only the small writer library loads from CDN. For styled headers with logos, use a full PDF editor.
Where it is used
Preparing print-ready reports, numbering scanned batches, referencing pages in reviews, and thesis formatting.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will it overlap my content?
- It sits 24pt from the edge — safe for normal margins. Full-bleed designs may collide; check the first pages.
- Can I start numbering from a different number?
- Not in this tool — numbering always starts at 1. Roman-numeral front matter needs a dedicated editor.
- Does it change anything else?
- No. Only the labels are added; all existing content, fonts, and images pass through untouched.
