About Link Price
Put a defensible dollar range on a sponsored-link opportunity from public-style metrics.
Link prices scale superlinearly with authority (hence DA squared), logarithmically with traffic (diminishing returns past six figures), and multiplicatively with niche heat, placement prominence, and follow status. The output is a midpoint with a ±30–40% negotiation band, and the formula is printed so both sides can audit it.
This is a market heuristic, not a quote engine — real deals move with relationships, exclusivity, and content quality. Note that buying links to manipulate rankings violates search-engine guidelines; price them for referral value. Everything runs in your browser.
Where it is used
Budgeting link-building campaigns, pricing guest-post inventory as a publisher, and sanity-checking seller quotes.
How to use the Link Price

Frequently Asked Questions
- Why does the price grow with the square of authority?
- High-authority placements are scarce and move rankings more, so market prices curve upward. Linear models underprice strong domains and overprice weak ones.
- Do nofollow links have any value?
- Yes — roughly a fifth here: referral traffic, brand exposure, and a natural-looking link profile. They just pass little ranking signal.
- Is paying for links allowed?
- Paying for ranking manipulation violates Google’s spam policies. Price links for genuine referral and brand value, and mark paid ones sponsored.
